TARH NEGASHT Provides a comprehensive suite of services, such as renovation and maintenance, installation and Inverse design and manufacturing of Turbocharger systems and components which are one of the main systems of locomotives in railway industry. Maintanance of a GE locomotive turbocharger and inverse design and manufacturing of some components of ALSTOM locomotive turbocharger are well-done projects on this field.
Turbocharger components
As the first domestic turbocharger components manufacturer, TARH NEGASHT had elaborately and successfully accomplished necessary processes of inverse design and manufacturing of prototypes for "nozzle-ring" and "radial-diffuser" of ALSTOM locomotive turbocharger. These parts passed designed quality controls and after installation fulfilled determined field tests even more than required working hours. This made ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN RAILWAYS to leave mass production of these components to us.
Beside above components, inverse design and manufacturing of turbocharger impellers also has been an important goal at this subdivision of TN group. Modeling after geometrical parameters extraction and 5-axis machining of three dimensional surfaces make these parts complicated. Manufacturing of ALSTOM and GE impeller prototypes is a considerable achievement on this field.

Turbocharger Maintenance
In addition to manufacturing of above turbocharger components we also elaborately accomplished GE locomotive maintenance project. Manufacturing and replacement of damaged parts, Renovation and machining of turbocharger casing and assembling process of miscellaneous parts are some of the main steps of this project. Implementation of these steps requires having a complete information about function and assembling relations of parts to prepare sketches of parts with fits and tolerances specified on them.
Overhauled turbochargers after performing filed tests by IRAN RAILWAYS has got functional and quality acceptance which enabled us to be one of the renovators of locomotive turbochargers in IRAN.
